An Open Letter to PBS

Things you need to do to get my support, dollars and encouraging others.

News not Conservative Propaganda (there are moderate conservatives please find them and get rid of the idiots you have now).
Do something big to change skewed opinions on public education and teachers before we lose public education. This has to be done NOW.
Israel is a rogue/terrorist nation and needs to be sanctioned by the international community and reformed by its citizens.Our tax dollars are funding their lobbying, and other interference in our affairs. (This has nothing to do with religion).
Universal single payer health care NOW.
Nobody can bail out AIG etal, everyone knows that. It is only those benefiting from the huge tax dollar giveaway that are agreeing with trying to revive these dead entities.

Children's programs need to go back to basics. I should not have to preview every show my grandchildren are going to watch on PBS.

I think it's pretty good so far.

Newshour, I would agree, is rather pro-business and ignores kitchen table issues a lot of the time. Bill Moyers is good. Those are the shows I watch regularly, although I admit I fast forward through some of the Newshour segments. After three minutes you can get the drift. Last night Barney Frank was great--that's when I really appreciate a long segment without having to cut the person off.
