Why don't they just pay these bonuses in "toxic assets"? It keeps
the contractual obligation they're yapping about and moves the bad stuff off the books. It seems like these folks sure thought these assets were worth what they paid for them when they bought them, and it was their job to think of those things - why not "reward" them with things that they thought were valuable.

How could they possibly bitch about it now with any shred of credibility? Any there are probably some components in them that are worth something.

6. Sounds like a perfect solution.
I like it alot. If that line is good enough for the taxpayers than it should be good enough for the bonus recipients!

Those assets might be worth a lot of $$ one day.....maybe.

Woot!

They can maintain some of these foreclosed properties and have the taxes shifted into their personal names.

11. Transfer them to a new company funded by their assets.
Edited on Thu Mar-19-09 03:40 PM by Festivito
Name it: Banker's Assets and Trust.
The bonus lovers are transferred to the new company and the company takes over billions in the assets they created.

Then they can argue they were hosed. And,.... that they deserve real money to the judge: :rofl:
... and the jury:
:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

"dance with the one that brung ya".
They brought a beat down nag to the horse race, they don't deserve to leave with a champion thoroughbred.
