What is truly frightening about these lummoxes and blockheads who remain in Congress ......
..... is that there are people who vote for them.

How does Michele Bachmann get elected? Think about the people who vote for someone like that.

The same question can be asked of people in Mary Bono's district. Or in the entire Commonwealth of Kentucky that put that moron baseball player with one too many fastballs to the head in the Senate *again*. Or Patrick McHenry's constituents.

This is not a slam on any region or ethnic group or any otherwise identifiable group. It cuts across all attempts at categorization. It is a slam on those morons who form even the slimmest of majorities that keep sending this type of embarrassment to Washington as part of our government.

3. correction: not quite the entire Commonwealth of KY.

But--the McConnell machine here kept Bunning for his vote, or at least that's the common Democratic assumption.

Mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa from one of the embarrassed!

4. Unfortunately when I bring up term limits on du
People ravage me. Ohh, I like my rep.

Just think if president wasn't term limited. 40 years of Bush.

People here don't get it. Once their in, and the majority are lifetime political hacks with no experience in anything, you can't get rid of them.

Term limits. There are 300 million people in this country. Why do we need to be beholden to the same 5-600 losers that have let this country fail?

5. Here's "how".
"Few men of first class ability can afford to let their affairs go to ruin while they fool away their time in Legislatures. . . . But your chattering, one-horse village lawyer likes it, and your solemn ass from the cow countries, who don't know the Constitution from the Lord's Prayer, enjoys it, and these you always find in the Assembly." - Mark Twain

8. I find it odd TV insists on showing me them
It's clear to anyone with half a brain these peoples opinions are not intelligently derived, relevant to solving America real problems or actual at all interesting. But every night these people get marched out to explain to me the politics of the moment simply because they have a pulse and some how got elected. Meanwhile countless intelligent politicians seem to exist in the dark never to get the light of a TV camera on them.
