I made a discovery

My home office is far away enough from the television that I can hear voices, but not make out the words. When my mother has the TV tuned to Fox news (Beck, Hannity, O'Reilly + guests) I hear these strident excitable voices. The other day I realized there was a familiarity about the sounds. I imagined the voices speaking German and I discovered what that familiarity was---they sound exactly like Nazis firing up their followers. That same hysterical pitch and cadence. Try it sometime.

2. great observation.

I have listened and heard echoes of the playground. The whiny kid who can't get along with anybody so taunts and bullies and fights. Isn't that how a lot of these guys started out? Not nerds, but dysfunctional kids.
