Discovery just flew over my house in Orlando.

Two white ribbons in the sky and just when I wondering when it was going to occur, or if it was going to occur...

boom - second later - BOOM!

In Lakeland. I thought someone was banging on my door, even though I heard
on the news earlier that it was landing at the Cape this afternoon.

10. Re-entry? Sorry, I've never experienced anything like this. Is this what
happens when they break through into the Earth's atmosphere that you're talking about? Or is it like jets when the break the sound barrier?

14. driving back from the Keys, was almost home when we heard it -- i thought it was my car!

15. I couldn't see it land
It was too cloudy here in Rockledge. I can see them launch quite well from the back porch. It's great to live so close to KSC and CCAFB. The launches are truly beautiful.
