Still waiting for the phone call from Bank of America about the Homeowner

Financial Stability Act. I sent them a hardship letter 8 weeks ago, and they told me today that they will probably call me within the next 30 days. That means it will take them around 12 weeks to answer my letter. I was just wondering if anyone else had heard from their lender regarding this plan.

6. be very careful with phone calls from Chase

Someone got their info on home loans and call to get info from the home owner. If they call, ask for a call back number or say you'll use the number on your bill to give the information.

Be sure to get anything they say to you IN WRITING right away.

Been there, done that. Almost lost our house because of that crap.

5. Have you checked with Freddie Mac? I think all of their loans are eligible

for the loan modifications if you qualify. I don't think BofA wants to comply, but they are the ones who sold my loan to Freddie Mac.
