Ah the news, never ceases to amaze me, leave the US
and even CNN is a valid news source

Yep, visiting parents, and CNNI is playing in the background and would you believe it? They have NEWS.

Of course when they join CNN for the day... that is when I go to local news service or... BBC

Hey, at least will have some news and not have to go search on the web

AHH

Oh and no missing blonds either

1. In GDL, I get REGULAR CNN.
Kiran Whatever-her-name-is and John King all morning. Bleh.

But it's better than Fox News...and it forces me to watch local news, which improves my Spanish. As a matter of fact, I'm off to watch the Spanish channels. Safe travels!!

2. CNNI is my only news source
Frankly, it's not so hot, either. In brief spurts it may seem refreshing, but as an every day thing, meh. I wish I had BBC.

3. Here is the menu
BBC
CNN-I
Deutche Welle
Spanish New Service
And of course all the locals...

Even the newspaper, which is BAD compared to what it once was is a vast improvement over my local bird cage liner

6. If more Americans knew this from experience they'd be clamoring for media re-regulation

(We might also note that when people come to the states from abroad and see- and listen to the dreck that passes for news or "talk" their reaction is somewhere between this: :boring: and this :wtf:

Eventually, it boils down to something between this: :eyes: and this: :puke:
