Filming of "Fair Game" (based on Valerie Plame's memoirs) is under way in NY

Double Oscar winner Sean Penn, who sizzled on the screen opposite Naomi Watts in 2003 fractured drama 21 Grams, was back at work with the British-Australian actress on the streets of Brooklyn in New York this week.

In their new movie Fair Play Sean plays Ambassador Joseph Wilson, the husband of illegally revealed CIA agent Valerie Plame Wilson. The movie is based on Valerie's memoirs about a scandal that rocked Washington during George W Bush's administration.

Scheduled for release in 2010, the film is directed by Doug Liman, the man behind The Bourne Identity and Mr and Mrs Smith. Describing Fair Game as a different kind of action movie. He says: "I feel like I've finally found a way to do an action movie that has neither guns, nor violence, nor car chases and yet hopefully will be as riveting as any of my Bourne films were."
