My union filed 4..FOUR..grievances against our building principal today
should make for an interesting last month of school.

In My opinion 4 is NOT enough should be 7 but I will start with 4

now we are all going to have to document EVERYTHIGN becaue before it is all over the "hostile work environment" could be added to the list

2. it boils down to his abuse of and or lack of action when it comes to
discipline and his lack of towards the students pawning it off on teachers including the administration part of it involving parents, documentation, ect...

his abuse of the contract dealing with how detailed lesson plans "should" be in his eyes

documentation of standards, how we teach to mastery ect...

I should mention, that we do all of these things, but the amount of paper work he wants is enormous and we are not getting time to actually TEACH...

basically he is abusing the contract and us and we had to put a stop to it.

but we may have just opened a HUGE can of worms

3. For sure, you just bought yourself more work,
but it's in a good cause, and it's a one-time deal that will do a world of good.

Excellent news! I love unions, I really do.

Will you keep DU posted on this?

And, best of luck to y'all ......................
