2. Poor old Pat
He never does manage to comprehend the fact that he's not the Pope of the country and doesn't get to dictate "morals" to all of us who live here.

Sic transit glorious wingnuttery. He's getting on in years, and he too will pass.

47. I think he's stuck in the pre-Vatican II mentality.....
when the Catholic church had no compunctions about meddling in countries' politics across the board. Bad enough now, but it was even worse then.

27. O' Donnell knows how to argue with Buchanan
He did so for years on the McLaughlin Group. Though I don't think McLaughlin ever let them go at each other for that long (it was only a 25 minute show, after all)

44. I remember cracking up at his ignorance re appeasement
but I also remember how he attacked Obama for being anti-Jewish and that's particularly funny tonight.

Still I like your new answer. Is Kevin still on air?

46. Ah, Jews everywhere are delighted,
and, yes, the timing is perfect, although I hadn't thought of it when I dug that link out of my bookmarks.

It's good to watch that one every so often, I think. Tweety was very good, never letting up. That's when I love Tweety.

But, get this: Kevin James is a LAWYER! Jesus, if that's not frightening, I don't know what is.

Apparently, yes, he's still on the air - AM radio, 9-11 weekday mornings. Not the best slot, I would think. But, what's really wonderful is that his "Hardball" appearance is chronicled here:

26. Buchanan needs to be retired ...........
Edited on Thu Apr-09-09 06:54 PM by Tangerine LaBamba
He can't take that kind of beating too often. He's old, and pasty, and really squishy.

Of course, the issue of "free speech" has nothing to do with this Notre Dame thing. It's a private university, and can invite whomever they want. Pat shouldn't say things that betray his ignorance.

OH!

But if he did that, he'd never get to say anything, would he?

I must go now and find O'Donnell's email address at msnbc.com so that I may offer myself to him....................

Edit: I just found this, if you can't get enough of Buchanan's thumping:
