Call me? Ex-Rep. Harris hands out business cards at State of the Union

A news magazine's gossip column spotted former Rep. Katherine Harris handing out business cards at President Bush's State of the Union address.

"And you thought Katherine Harris lost," Paul Bedard's Washington Whispers in US News & World Report notes, referring to the former Florida Secretary of State's failure to win a seat in the US Senate last November.

"See, as a former representative, she keeps floor rights and she used them to the hilt Tuesday night before President Bush's State of the Union address," Bedard writes. "Our chief photodog, Charlie Archambault, caught her mingling on the Republican side and even handing out business cards."

2. "Call me sometime, Big Boy..."
Have to give her one thing, she's persistent (in the same way a drug-resistant case of gonorrhea is).

4. Business cards being handed out, eh?
Why don't we pay down the National Debt by putting up banners around the gallery? How much you think Exxon would pony up for the naming rights to the House Chamber? :sarcasm:

Sometimes you just have to weep for this country of ours.

So it's hard to say if she's campaigning for anything.
