"Now Cramer is revisiting the incident in an interview he gave to the Ohio State University publication "The Lantern" and going all out against Stewart. He accuses Stewart of orchestrating a "complete and utter ambush" and that Stewart "told my staff that it was going to be fun, convivial, no clips, but doesn't matter, he's a comedian, he can do whatever he wants."

It seems questionable that Stewart, whose show is so reliant on video clips, would promise not to use any, or that Cramer, even if he received such a promise, would be so unprepared to defend himself against videos that are circulating widely on the Internet. He also reverts to calling Stewart just a comedian, which is one of the remarks that got him into trouble in the first place.

Cramer also slammed Stewart for his off-camera behavior and accused him of selective editing (an accusation that rings hollow considering that "The Daily Show" almost immediately released the entire unedited interview online):

"He had an animus toward me. At the conclusion of the interview, not on the mic, he said, 'I picked the wrong guy, I'm sorry,' but that's not gonna get out there," Cramer said. "He just said it to me as just a throwaway. His goal was just to humiliate and destroy me and probably get me fired, and last I looked, I still have a show."

There is one thing the GOP does that we democrats need to learn from. When our people fall (Gore, Mondale, Carter) we tend to throw them away, as if they are some dead corpse that needs to be hidden. The GOP has a talent for keeping it's losers in the public eye, even up to the point where people actually forget they are losers. It's why people like McCain and Bush manage to get several whacks at the pinata, while we can't get Gore to even TRY to run again.

As much as Jon Stewart did wipe the floor with Cramer, Cramer's masters know better than to allow the left a victory. They will remake Cramer, the same way Anakin Skywalker was "remade" into Darth Vader. As odd as it sounds, there is a serious lesson to be learned, because when we eat our own as much as we do, it does give the Dark Side an edge, as they can keep more people in stock.
