2. they are protesting that it's the wrong Americans getting tax cuts. Only the rich should get tax
cuts and then they are supposed to trickle down to the rest of us.

Ther know in their hearts that they will someday be rich, and they want to make sure that taxes stay low for the rich, so when THEY are rich, they'll have low rates...and get to keep all their money:)

and since rich people own companies that hire the little people (them), those rich folks have to make a TON of money, or they might lay off the little people (teabaggers apparently cannot read, or they wouold see that this already happened)..

Yes, we have a faux-grassroots movement that is all about protecting the privileged tax status of the rich and the super-rich, while dismissing out of hand any benefit that might be gained by decreasing taxes for 95% of the population.

It's an upside-down world we live in.

The more I see of this sort of thing, the more I realize that our entire society has become a Potemkin village, with a facade presenting us as superior, free, and well-off compared to others; while the reality is that we are ignorant, propagandized, enslaved, imprisoned, put out of house and home, and generally the exact opposite of what the propaganda has most of us believing we are.

acquaintance with reality.

This 'protest' only makes sense if you're in the top one percent of the tax bracket. Otherwise, you're a rightwing frackin' idiot. Excuse the unnecessary adjectives.
