Watching the CNN Live feed of the Boston Teabagging Party...
OMG, we r domed!!1! There muzt b 200's peeple thur!!!

The camera zoomed in to someone in front of a stage with a sign that read something like "Fair Taxes Now". What the hell is that supposed to mean, have they even heard Obama's plans? Let me guess, in their world, fair taxes now must mean upping middle class taxes to fund tax breaks for oil company cronies, as well as dropping those AWFUL plans to to give tax breaks to companies that keep jobs here in the us.

I mean seriously, what the hell is this ridiculously staged stunt supposed to be about exactly? Are there really 200 or so people in Boston that can be this brain dead? Oh wait, that's actually funny since Boston has about 610,000 people according to Wikipedia. Boston, my hat's off to you--you have a remarkably low level of brain dead idiots for a city your size. And trust me, I live in the Houston area so I know...

Wonkette's coverage of this embarrassment should be gold this afternoon!

1. They were expecting 1500
At least that's what the lady organizer they interviewed this morning said. She stated they had received "about" 1500 RSVPs.

10. Wonder if there was any ratfucking going on
DUers should have all "RSVP'd" so that they'd plan for a huge number and then have nobody show up!

2. Fair taxes, to them, is an end of income taxes and an imposition
of a 28% sales tax on all goods.

5. So then what do they suppose will happen if people stop spending?
Like if we were ever to find ourselves in a massive recession or anything like that?

6. Okay, pic found on MSNBC's site...

I'm thinking the sign in the background says something to the effect of, "Don't Tax Me, Too Young To Work". Nice job, you're already not paying taxes, nor are you going to. At least not for the next 10 or so years from the looks of you.

And from the accompanying article:

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/30227452/

Organizers say they’re steamed at government spending since President Barack Obama’s administration took over.

ARE THEY REALLY THIS STUPID? God Americans must look like such idiots in Europe.

7. 600,000 is the number of people that LIVE there
but the number of people downtown swells considerably during the day. The Common is an especially busy area around lunch time.

11. CNN article on this so called "teabagging" thingy...
http://www.cnn.com/2009/POLITICS/04/15/tea.parties/index.html

At one protest Wednesday morning a sign read, "I read as much of the stimulus bill as my Congresswoman."

Uh, maybe your unwillingness to learn anything about the stimulus explains why you're acting like an idiot.

Borrowing an often-quoted phrase that Republican Sen. John McCain has used, another protester held up her statement: "Stop generational theft."

It appears what we really need to work on is a way to stop generational stupidity.

Pajamas TV, a conservative Web site that says it gets about 1 million viewers a week, ran streaming video from several protests. PJTV hired McCain campaign poster boy Samuel Joseph "Joe the Plumber" Wurzelbacher to act as a reporter at one of the protests. At least one video shows a protester asking Wurzelbacher if he would like to waterboard Obama.

Pro-torture: check. Probable raciscm: check. A Joe the Plumber appearance: check.

The organizers apparently pulled out all the stops.

In remarks in Washington on Wednesday, Obama said he'd been true to campaign promises to lessen the tax burden on most Americans.

"My administration has taken far-reaching action to give tax cuts to Americans who need them while jump-starting growth and job creation in the process," the president said. A tax cut enacted April 1, Obama said, "will reach 120 million families and put $120 billion directly into their pockets."

According to the IRS, the plan offers a refundable tax credit of up to $400 for working individuals and up to $800 for married taxpayers who file joint returns.

In other words, Teabaggers = FAIL.
