7. If you laid all the tea baggers end to end, they would reach almost
a quarter of a mile. True fact.

8. We are supposed to have about a hundred here in Anchorage
and "hundreds" in Wasilla, although I'm certainly not driving all the way out to "Palin Country" for that. I do plan to go downtown here in Anchorage though at noon to see how much support they've drummed up. I'll post pictures. :)

9. I saw three middle aged teabaggers in Chicago
It's nice to know people in their fifties are exploring their sexuality and are experimenting with new things.

15. You know their in trouble when the freeper live thread only has
215 posts at 1:30 in the afternoon. This one was interesting:

To: Waywardson

I just heard from a friend who works in downtown Madison, Wisconsin...almost 6,000 people downtown for hours honking horns and blasting Twisted Sister over and over.

I would love to know if this were true or just wishful thing. Hard to believe Madison would be a hotbed of right wing loonies. Anybody in Madison right now who's seen this?

16. 6,000 in Madison, WI? HA! Probably 200-300 like other places.

Freepers can't count well above 20 (they run out of fingers and toes)

BTW, rather ironic that that Twister Sister song they were likely playing, We're Not Gonna Take It, is an anti-authoritarian song and which party represents authoritarianism? Sure ain't the one in power now!

19. Western Iowa reporting in.
I drove by the local tea party, and not sure if even 80 people were there... maybe more will show up later, but it is looking more like a gathering of the local RNC honchos :) just saying

24. Hmmm...I believe I read that Portland's rally doesn't start until 6:00 tonight, so
evidently, they are counting people that just aren't there. Unless they're talking about Portland, Maine.

Of course, when they do report on Portland, they will have to work to weed out who are the anti-tea party protesters (that rally starts at 5:00), who are the homeless that always hang out in Pioneer Courthouse Square, and who are just the commuters there waiting for the MAX train.
