I just tried to consolidate my credit card accounts

and Chase won't allow me to transfer anything. When I went online and clicked on transfers I got a message saying that service isn't available. So I paid off the balance by transferring it to another credit card. I won't close the account and I'll use it just enough to keep it active and pay the balance every time.

1. If Chase is true to form, the account you paid off...

will have the credit line decreased to 300-500 dollars. Just watch.

B of A did that to me when I paid them off and it made me so mad that I closed the account. Now I know not to or my credit rating gets screwed, thanks to smart DUers for their advice.
