If they really wanted to do something, that's what they would have done. Burn their tax forms.

But they won't, because they're too cowardly to actually do something substantive.

They talk "revolution" but they call of one of their protests because of some local ordinance. People with conviction would do it anyway. Look at what happened with the Boston Tea Party. That was certainly illegal, and after they did it, Parliament responded by closing the port of Boston, made all positions in the Massachusetts government appointed by the king, and let the governor unilaterally move trials to London instead of at home.

They did it anyway.

3. Imagine if they didn't cash their welfare checks.
I've a feeling these people take more services than they give.

5. Supporting the troops is supporting socialism...real capitalists would rather have a private army!
No more socialist military!

6. That'd just shift more of the burden to their grandchildren.
Isn't that what all these protesters are screaming about?

14. Nah...if they were worried about their grandchildren.
they would have been out there protesting tax-cuts for the 2%'ers, and military spending. What they're really protesting...obviously, is the scary black man in the White House.

7. Judging by the age of a lot of those people,
they're busy collecting their Social Security checks, while protesting "socialism." Later, they'll use their Medicare cards to get treatment for their blisters, so they can protest "socialism" some more.

8. From what I've seen in the photos, a number look to be retirement age
I'm wondering how many of them have refused to cash their Social Security checks? After all, if they have their way, Social Security will be one of the many programs stopped.

10. Most people are taxed by withholding. Them not filing papers would let the government keep more

13. I know a very nice husband and wife who did just that about 15 years ago....
as part of the Libertarin "it's illegal for the government to tax you" thing.

From what they tell me, 1 year in prison (both of 'em) wasn't so much fun..
