2. It was a joke.
Some cities had numbers, but no message other than 'We hate taxes'.

This was supposedly the big roll out of a year and a half project to get the pukes back. In that sense it was an epic fail.

7. In what respect, Charlie?
Personally, I'd say that the numbers were more than I was expecting. However, the coherence and effectiveness of the events seemed to be as pitiful as one would expect. It looked like a lot of Ron Paul people went and they appeared to be th only ones with a focused message, trying to drum up support for Paul's idea of eliminating the Fed.

9. I gotta tell ya . . . they sure showed us . . .
. . . what gargantuan failure looks like.

These weren't "teabag" parties, they were "I Hate Obama" rallies. They didn't even know WHAT they were protesting.

10. From the heart of anti taxer land, Colorado Springs, from what I could tell from TV clips,
it was NOT an over whelming response. There was a crowd, but seriously, the entire park should have been packed. It was not.

15. If Obama Appeared In Any One of These Tea Bag Cities
He'd draw a crowd 1000x the size of any teabag party.

19. Nope.
Media coverage of a few thousand people doesn't translate to actual power or support or votes. It was a joke.
