At this moment, Aipac/CFR is scrambling in a state of fear...
Blown open and exposed by the Rep Harman scandal.

Torture investigation and prosecution- The road will lead to AIPAC/CFR and they are in full panic mode.

If you are wondering why our government is dragging its feet on appointing a prosecutor or a full congressional investigation into torture then remember..

AIPAC/CFR IS THE MOST POWERFUL AND INFLUENTIAL LOBBY IN WASHINGTON DC.

The progressive outcry to investigate torture will also expose AIPAC/CFR's role.

Progressives, KEEP DEMANDING INVESTIGATIONS! Washington is hearing our call.

2. I wasn't aware they were the same organization.
Both are treasonous pieces of shit that should be abolished, but aren't they separate entities?

4. I think you're needlessly conflating CFR and AIPAC.
And no, I don't think anyone is dragging their feet. Americans, as a general rule are childlishly impatient.

6. Conflating AIPAC and CFR is absolutely ridiculous
If you knew anything about CFR you would know that their most prominent Iran scholar/analyst is Ray Takeyh. He has done more analysis than just about anybody on why Iran's leadership are rational opportunists and not the crazy fanatics the neocons want us to believe so that they can justify a bomb bomb bomb Iran strategy. CFR wouldn't fund Takeyh's research if they were in the business of shilling for AIPAC. Nice try, though...
