What? Only 44 percent of Dems in survey think Fox is biased?
This new Pew Research survey says that 29 percent think that Fox is too critical of President Obama, and that includes 44 percent among Democrats. In what universe was this survey taken? Or, are 56 percent of Democrats unable to see the broad side of a barn at 20 feet?

1. Like the rest of the population. Many Democrats are intellectually lazy and vote on emotion. nt

2. Clearly we have our work cut out for us
Talk up the FAUX news bias, is something I try to do. At least whenever I encounter political discussions. Their sponsorship of the right wingnut tea bagging parties is the ace in the whole proof.

3. One suspects that many of the respondents have never watched Fox "news"
because even for the tickest of Americans, that conclusion's obvious.

4. The public is woefully ignorant and unable to think critically
I doubt if more than two percent of the population could even tell you what "biased news" means.

5. That's weird.
I can't stomach FNC anymore at all, but the times when I used to tune in, they were attacking Obama at full force with no balance.

So... either the viewers think the attacks are fair criticism but like Obama anyway or they are basing their opinions on one or two Sunday shows?

7. fact is most people, including dems, don't pay attention. They are too busy making a living, with
children or whatever to pay attention to a cable news channel.

11. Most people don't watch Cable news
It's because they are watching Lebron James on ESPN or American Idol. Plenty of the public watch TV busy or not busy. They just don't watch the news on a regular basis.

8. too many people
buy into the false Fox = MSNBC. I could see where people are coming from in terms of the primetime reporting (even though Rachel/Keith don't depend on lies like Hannity, etc), but the main problem that I have with that is that Fox's rightward slant is wayyyyy aparent during the day, when MSNBC during the day does not promote the liberal agenda, usually just buys into the usual MSM bs. When I turn on Fox during the day, it's all "Hmmm, looks like history books have a liberal bias!" etc.

12. The same reason many dems think people such as Kucinich are "loony left," and "unelectable"
It's my estimation that those who argue for the latter are merely disguising the fact that they're emotionally fueled by their belief in the former.

In other words, the dem party doesn't exactly represent the left in this country.

14. I attack anyone who watches Fux ...to their face!
You watch Fux? What is the matter with you? Only a moron could believe the crap that Fux spews. You will never find the truth on Fux and a lot of other networks. You need to seek out the truth before you spew the talking points from Fux. I can't take you seriously if you watch Fux. blah blah blah ...I hammer them and I don't care if they hate me or ever speak to me again. Fux watchers need to be humiliated and scorned.

15. You have misread the findings
The question was whether the news stations were too critical of Obama, not if they were biased in general. Those are different questions.
I would guess that since most Dems don't watch Fox, they simply had no opinion. We see over 50% did not answer that they were either too critical or to easy so probable had no opinion or just thought it was a stupid poll.

18. You misrepresent the question and the results
and also fail to note that FoxNews only has about 1% of the country as audience at all. The vast majority even of Republicans do not watch cable news. The entire industry's audience could hide physically behind one State's worth of a network's news audience.
This is such a crap post. Half the Democrats polled said 'what?' for they don't even watch Fox...so your conclusion is lazy at best.
