1. Poor Mexico
First the economy collapses so lots of the people working up here went home, the drug/gang fear mongering was already shutting travel across the border down, and now this. And you know, it's all such bull shit, statistically. Think I will go to Agua Prieta today for lunch. Maybe have some tacos carnitas.

2. I need to continue this little rant.
Where I live there is a desert river that everybody in the universe has or is "studying" - lots of different people with ideas on protecting/saving it. The easiest in terms of affecting the least consumers is of course to get rid of any and all agriculture in the basin (nevermind it has been farmed from prehistoric times) and the big savior for the economy? "eco-tourism". :eyes:

Well what happens when the tourists don't come? Whether because they don't have the $$$ to travel, they get scared because of some overblown news stories, or whatever...it is no panacea. And more importantly it is no replacement for the real need to grow food.
