Where do Elephants go to die?
Edited on Wed Apr-29-09 01:16 AM by Ozymanithrax
The Whigs know,
That Old Defunct Grand Old Party,
Shrunk to a handful of southern racial purists,
Cocooned itself in South graves,
Feeding on the dung drops of racism and hate,
To be reborn in 1948 when Democrats let the blacks in,
And Strom Thurmond bolted.

Now, 61 years later,
The Elephants die in the South.

1. Nice one.
Well done!

BTW, typo in subject line: change "to" to "do".

6. What is a decade...
In 40 billion years.

If you never made a mistke,
People would know you are perfect.

9. It could have gone the other way. If that strain wasn't such a wussy.
One of these days a strain will come along where the victim numbers rise exponentially over several days or worse.

This one wasn't it, but it had me worried, too.

7. Martin Luther King was a Republican. Frederick Douglass was a Republican.
The Republicans were, once upon a time, the Abolitionists.

Back in the dark ages, they were the good guys.

It just shows how power can corrupt, and how times can change parties and perspectives.
