OMG...have you ever heard of Mark Levin? (radio talk show host)

Apparently he's yet another dime-a-dozen asswipe conservative talkshow host wannabe.

A local AM radio station picked him up recently. OMG...what an ass this man is. And that VOICE. Ugh.
It's bad enough listening to right-wing pablum, but to hear it from his vocal cords...I'd rather listen to nails on a chalkboard any day. Ranting and raving would be difficult enough to listen to, but his is a voice only Smiegel could love.

And to top it off, he apparently is one of those self-loathing Jews (ala Michael Savage WIENER) who seeks to distance themselves from their Jewish background. He pronounces his last name like "le-VIN"
instead of Levin, as in Carl Levin the good senator from MI.

I'm Jewish and I have NEVER heard a Jew named Levin pronounce their name as "le-VIN".

Mark Levin was one of the talking heads deployed to fight the Clintons beginning in the Lewinsky era. He was a regular on TV. He's a lawyer, a member of the Federalist Society, and a bona fide member of freerepublic.com. He posts there under the user name "holdonnow".

He posts at FR? Seriously??? Maybe someone from there lurking over here will draw attention to my post here about his asswipe ways.

"Holdonnow" refers to Levin in the third person in a lot of those posts. Or is that just a charming, psychotic, right-wing quirk?

Thanks for posting this. I guess it shouldn't surprise me that he posts on FR, but it is interesting and queasy-making just the same.

But here's the thing they have Ed Schultz on too offering a fair and somewhat factual show to balance the utter nonsense, lies and fear mongering. Does that make sense? Why not take the crack heads like Beck off and get real?

Neal Boortz and Ed Schultz have the same syndication, Global Media (Jones). They also syn. Stephanie Miller and Clark Howard. I can see the Beckster being sent packing, but at least Boortz can make coherent arguments, even if you don't agree with him. Neal has been "insensitive" for over 30 years.

They can't get enough of the hate echo chamber they live in. Levin has his own "shtick," as does old-timers like Rush and other newbies like Monica Crowley, but they all share one quality: Three hours a day of hating Obama, and rake in the bucks from that 20 percent who cannot stand the fact that there might be one or two people who don't march in lockstep.

Call them Freepers, or Dittoheads, or today's mainstream Republicans, they can live no where else but that echo chamber, and charlatans like Le-VIN know it.

Speaking of self-loathing Jews, my shop landlord is one. He always made sure to let me know he isn't Jewish. :eyes: One day he was reminiscing about his career and said one of his former bosses made him alter his last name on his business cards so no one would know he was Jewish.
