Here's an idea
Why aren't the brains in our party running a clip of * speaking to a reporter a few years back and stating that 'he doesn't think about Osama much anymore."

I would think that clip alone repeated over and over again in today's political climate of the increased 'activity' in Afghanistan and *'s obvious 'need' to bomb Iran in the name of terrasts and Al Queda would seriously undermine him enough to amplify the impeach movement.

For that matter, they could take a LOT of his quotes and build quite the campaign against him. I know the 29% who love him still won't care, but this is just nuts to ignore words from his own mouth.

They did it to Kerry and while I normally don't think 2 wrongs constitute a right, in this case, I make an exception.

1. Just make sure that you run the political adds
during Survivor, Idol and all of the garbage that the US citizenry watches.

I'd gladly re-up my donations to Moveon.org if they'd pepper the airwaves with bushisms.

3. "running a clip"? "repeated over and over again"??
Sure. Just give it to the "liberal media" ... you know, the left-wing equivalent of Fox Noise? Now ... which channel is that again?

:eyes: :eyes: :eyes: :eyes:

5. Good idea if Bush were running for something
but unless it ends with that photo op last week of Bush surrounded by the GOP Congress, then I'm not sure there would be much traction for it. To be really smart about it, the flame need to be put squarely on the asses of the GOP that are up for election in 2008. That means every single GOP Congressmember is a target, and there's a majority of GOP Senators to go along with them (some of whom are already peeling off).

The bottom line is that Democrats can't start impeachment proceeding based soley on public opinion; they have to have the votes and that means GOP votes. They also have to have the evidence, which is why there are hearings.

Pressure needs to be bearing down on the GOP like a fast-moving train. BTW, each of us should check on our Rep's schedule during this Easter break and show up for (or demand!) a town hall with them--ESPECIALLY if they are GOP.
