Has Anyone Else Noticed on C-Span Recently, Today For Example
Edited on Tue May-05-09 12:13 PM by bluebellbaby
That their coverage ended abruptly on the Senate Committes dicussions of Health Care Reform...

I don't like to put my "tinfoil hat" on...but..

Now they have on C-span2 the Brookings Institution...

They did have on C-span earlier the Senate Committee on Health Care Reform only to stop it and cover the opening remarks in the House and C-span2 had on a replay of this mornings Washington Journal...

It appears that my "beloved" C-span is playing games...don't they want Americans to hear what's being discussed?

Am I the only one who's noticed this?

I must add this...at the beginning of the Senate meeting this morning there were protesters demanding that "single payer" options be included...they were "disrupting" the meeting...

2. UMMM...They do have a firm schedule
CSPAN does have a firm pre-published schedule of what each channel will have daily. So I guess I am use to them abruptly changing content.

About the hearing - I just posted this video with Bernanke

NO CodePink: Bernanke's Security TIGHTER Than Peres @ AIPAC! Hello - Codepink can interrupt a speech with Musad all around but in a hall of democracy there ain't any protestors!

5. You wouldn't be the first to call shenanigans on C-SPIN
There have been all sorts of peculiar things like that that people have called to attention...especially deep in the Bush/Cheney yrs

10. That and they will do fillers from Washington Journal while waiting for events to begin
They will often play parts of speeches, talks, or Washington Journal segments right up until something they are waiting for happens - like a late opening session in either house - but I haven't noticed any more than normal lately.

6. They are comitted to House activities first.
They will interrupt anything if there is anything going on on the house floor.

Anything else is, I guess, random.
