Assuming that the GOP will soon implode into a regional
fringe party, I expect the Blue Dog Democrats to split off and form a party with the remaining moderate Republicans. What will the new party be named?

I can suggest an animal symbol: the armadillo

This is a reference to Jim Hightower's comment that the only things in the middle of the road are two yellow stripes and dead armadillos!

1. Let's just call it the Dillo Party. We can occasionally mispell it
as the Dildo Party, because they are trying to make some of their followers feel good, and they are lacking a good, hard ... Okay, that's going too far.
