God Bless America sticker on the back of an imported SUV
This is the problem I have with some Christians:

They expect God to do all the work.

If you want America to be blessed; maybe you shouldn't give your money to people who, well, aren't American.

And don't go out of your way to fuck up the planet.

I've never actually talked to God.

But I'm pretty sure he doesn't appreciate it when people trash his creation.

That's it for now.

Pardon the interruption.

You may now resume your regularly scheduled flame war.

11. ever seen "head of state" with chris rock...
where he is running for president. the guy he is running against is vp for eight years, a war hero and sharon stone's cousin. LOL! he (the vp guy) was always saying 'god bless america, and no place else!' i feel that is how some of these folks think, as if we haven't had enough things going well and maybe should share some with some other folks for a change. but would jesus help the less fortunate.

5. Every time I see a bumper sticker about God or Jesus, I always have a
feeling that neither wanted to be on a car.

6. I prefer the Chinese-made American flag magnets with the wrong number of stars or stripes.
They ALWAYS seem to be on foreign cars.

There's a bumper sticker from the late 70's that I need to get - "Out of work? Hungry? Eat your rice burner!"

8. That's OK... my best friend in high school
and roommate in college had a bumper sticker on the back of his car...

(we were both radical lefties and even produced an underground newspaper in our high school)...

The bumper sticker read "Save the whales... boycott Japanese goods".

Unfortunately, it was on the back of his DATSUN (the previous name of Nissan)!!!

Even after I pointed it out to him, he still didn't "get it" (as to why that might not be the smartest move).

I still laugh about it now, some 36 years later.

9. I'm no Christian, so I don't know exactly how this works.
But when you say "If you want America to be blessed; maybe you shouldn't give your money to people who, well, aren't American." I guess you're saying that God decides who to bless based on where we spend our money? I never knew it worked that way. I had no idea I had that kind of purchasing power! So each dollar I spend is like a direct vote to God where I can make myself heard as to who I want blessed or damned?
