Tell me why electoral reform should be issue #1, ahead of Iraq...
To me, if the integrity of the vote is in question, "You ain't got no... democracy... no..no.no" (sung to the music of the Stone's classic, Satisfaction).

The shenannigans of the MSM comes in a very close second. These two issues combined enabled the war in Iraq in the first place.

Therefore, the war in Iraq should be the third most important issue.

Until we have real elections, we will end up getting the same type of policies.

2. Uncorrupting our election system will enable any sort of reform we wish to enact thereafter

Based on what legislation that passes (which would not have passed without it), it has effects with the potential to reach much farther into the future than withdrawing from Iraq.

That isn't meant to diminish the importance of getting out of Iraq (very, very important, both for the lives that will be saved, and as the first step to healing the American character), but to underscore the importance of electoral reform (which to me includes voting protection, voting rights protection, measures to increase turnout like moving election day to a holiday, public financing, and ensuring that voters choose their representatives instead of representatives choosing their voters (non-partisan redistricting)).

3. Actually it should be ranked closely behind Iraq..
or worked in parallel to the Iraq Debacle..

Because it is a case of National Security...our constitution is under attack by fascist in our country and that includes destroying every man and womans right to have their vote counted.

That's all...
