Dick Cheney backs Jeb Bush for president
Former Vice President Dick Cheney said on Tuesday he would back former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush if he decided to run for president.
“I like Jeb. I think he's a good man. I'd like to see him continue to stay involved politically,” Cheney said during an interview with Fox News’ Neil Cavuto. “I'd probably support him for president.”
Cheney insisted that he’s “not in the business of endorsing anybody at this point,” but said that he’s “a big fan of Jeb's.”

Some comments:
The United States has been Bushwhacked twice. That’s enough.

If this happens we really are slipping into a South American oligarchy.

Sorry Mr. Cheney, I have the highest amount of respect for you, but I really don't want a "dynasty."
Jeb might be a good guy, but surely we have some others out there.

This is an absurd thing for Cheney to do.
Can we please move along now, past the Bushes AND the Cheneys and get back to Reagan already?
Or someone AT LEAST as Reaganesque?
Reagan was the best president we’ve had in recent history, but you know, like the others, he still had a penchant for deficit spending...

Everyone on this thread makes me embarrassed to call myself a conservative . . . It makes me wonder why I expend so much energy every day battling the TRUE ENEMIES OF CONSERVATISM: the Marxist, Chomsky-ites who comprise 95% of the professoriate on the university level and probably 80% of the teachers at the K-12 level.
GET A CLUE PEOPLE: If we don’t start winning more battles within academe, our war for the cultural soul of this country will be lost for generations to come. FYI: Both Bush brothers have battled the K-16 education elites/unions and won — even though most on this thread have bought the ‘talker’ propaganda to the contrary . . . And what do they get for their trouble — ridicule from the unappeasables on the right . . . Pathetic is too weak an adjective.
