Maybe we should start calling what the Democrats are proposing National Insurance Care
instead of National Health Care? That is what it is sounding like to me anyway..

1. No kidding. Until insurance companies are out of the loop, any proposal will be an expensive sham.

4. No thanks. That's Frank "Orwell" Luntz's Bushiganda.
Most good Democrats would rather be strung up by their privates than help catapult the lying Bushiganda.

9. Or "The Insure Congress' Biggest Campaign Donor's Act"
the most accurate of all. Baucus showed his true colors. We have to
raise hell about this and educate the public.

3. Single-Payer insurance is considered national health care
insurance as a means to pay doesn't mean people wont have access to affordable and effective care. Insurance controlled by the private market means that though, and this is closer to what the Democrats are suggesting.

5. Good idea.
Newt Gingrich's idea of insurance-at-gunpoint sure doesn't meant that people will actually get healthcare.

7. They'd better have at least a government-insured option
with the goal of phasing out the insurance companies. Otherwise, I've had it with this party. What's the point of having a government - just let the corporations control our lives. Fuck you blue dogs.

8. recommended. Insurance Co's will write this bill, like they did Medicare D
the D standing for Disaster.

Why in the frack would we pay insurance companies to tell us if we can
go to the doctor or not, and if so, how much we have to pay, and how much care we can have?

Most developed countries have single payer, do not need private insurance, and everyone gets treated.
It is much less expensive.

Heck, even Taiwan has single payer with multi options - traditional and non traditional medicine.
Less waiting time than in the US by far.

My cousins in New Zealand and Australia have had single payer, they call it medicare - for decades.

They were shocked to hear of the crisis in the US.

Single payer, not health insurance cos.
