Not one word about Cheney demanding torture on MSNBC
This morning on MSNBC I have not heard them even report about the claim that Cheney's used waterboard to try and build a case for a Iraq-Alqaeda link. This was all over the network last night from 6-11 PM. All they have talked about this morning is how Pelosi is in big trouble for accusing the CIA of misleading her. Lawrence O'Donnell was treated like a lunatic when try to present her rational. What the hell is wrong with these people?

2. No itunes link to Maddow from last night either.
I always download her show to itunes every morning and it's always there. Not today. Not after she had a shattering interview about Cheney's office authorizing torture on a POW. Coincidence?

3. Two Programs On The Same Network - Two Different News Stories About The Same Topic.......
so is this news or is this spin/opinion? A sad commentary. We are being manipulated in the worst way. Yesterday I happened to see and old friend that is a Repug. We got into politics a bit and he said to me I hope you are not watching MSNBC - they lie and spew hate. I said to him - I hope you're not watching Fox - because they lie and spew hate. I can't understand how he can watch Fox and he can't understand how I can watch MSNBC. What's wrong with this picture?

4. This is all part of the MSNBC strategy...
Let Scarborough and Buchanan spew the right-wing talking points in the morning and give the "liberals" the podium for the evening. But, just as an experiment, watch closely during the daytime broadcasting today and see which talking point they favor? See how much they talk about the Office of the Vice President or the comments of Bob Graham? Just watch...

8. It's Called "Fair & Balanced"...
I never watch Morning Shmoe...I don't turn on MSNBC until after Mrs. Greenspan's lunch club. I'm convinced the network puts on these right wing spinners and apologists to appear to balance their programming. It wasn't long ago their night time line-up was Joey, Bowtie Boy and Rita Cosby. I think their current night time line-up is a step in the right direction.

That said...the GOOP spin is to try to split the Democrats. Surely the party operatives know there's a lot of Pelosi hate on this side that can and is being fueled to take the pressure off cheney and the other war criminals. Their calls today for her to step down are no different than those that I've read on DU over the past couple weeks...done for different reasons, but with the same objective in mind. If it hurts Pelosi, so much the better...it doesn't matter how, just as long as she's taken down.

In listening to phone calls on Washington Journal this morning, I'm hearing more and more people seeing through this smoke screen. Yes, no mention about Dulfer's interview last night with Rachel and little about the testimony by Zelikow and the CIA intel agent on Wednesday...just the non-stop bullshit spin.

The saving grace is the more the spin goes on, the more pissed people are getting...the more that "soft" 50% that aren't convinced in the need to investigate are being bombarded with more reason to demand accountability.

Stay tuned....
