Sickles High School Yearbook Photo: 16yo Admits “I Wasn’t Wearing Panties”

A Sickles High School Yearbook Photo is making news today after a 16 year old student says she didn’t wear panties to school the day the photos were taken because she didn’t want panty lines showing up in her yearbook photos. However, the end result of going commando has meant an eyeful for thousands who have copies of the Sickles High School yearbook.

After the Sickles High School yearbooks were handed out on Monday, students began noticing that the pottery club photo showed a side of one teenage girl they’d never seen before.

The school admin is downplaying the photos, saying that all that appears in the Sickles High School yearbook photo is a shadow, but the exposed student says that it’s no shadow, it’s the real thing.

No way my mother would have allowed me to wear short skirts or low cut dresses like that growing up.

And no way in hell I'd let my daughter either.

So here goes my old lady question, "Where is this girls mother?".

We rolled our skirts up at the waist and unbuttoned our shirts to the tops of our bras.

I think the problem is skirts, period. I hated them then and I don't own any now. I lived in scrubs and jeans when I was working, and now it's just jeans.

I personally thought it was insane, but girls who didn't wear 'em were regarded as "loose."

Could she not have worn a less tight skirt/dress or one made of less clingy fabric? Less tight/clingy fabrics have a small chance of the dreaded panty line.

So I won't be nekkid underneath my clothes.

I also think they should move the bases in baseball one foot farther out so as to cut down on all the close plays that cause so many arguments.

Yet I laugh every time I see that pic anywhere.

So I am suspicious of her explanation as why she is going commando.

Plus, she is sitting in the front row and chose not to cross her legs.

Could have been intentional... a prank or joke that got noticed.

Clingy fabrics will...well, cling no matter how loose the cut of the dress or skirt is.

But yeah, what's a 16 year old doing making these sort of choices?

I still think that it was a sexting type prank, only done using the yearbook (hell, we were always trying to get a photo in the yearbook holding "rabbit ears" behind an unsuspecting prankee or, more risky... a middle finger!)

but I recall that that's what those things called SLIPS are used for. And if that's too old school, there's always Static Guard.

It happens all the time, though most people would probably realize at some point in the day that they were "free bird", and would do their best to keep it under wraps.

But, you're right, it does seem unusual that she isn't more careful about the way she's sitting.

but men never "forget" that we are going commando when we first get dressed, at least when wearing some sort of trousers or jeans. Something about zipping up the fly tends to remind us right away that something is amiss.

Some people's habit of wearing underwear is more regular, more quotidian, than others. Some people wear underwear sporadically, and are more likely to forget to wear underwear when the outfit demands them, such as, a short dress.

I know, we're not supposed to care, but some of us want to look nice anyway. So I completely understand if some women feel self-conscious about VPL.

I never cared about panty lines but then I don't wear skin tight clothes either.

Panties are the veil behind which heaven awaits!!!

And so a photo like that (unedited) is like looking at the full light of the SUN, or an eclipse!!!
