I don't give a crap if Nancy knew.....

If Nancy knew does it make those who orchestrated it less guilty. If she knew would torture be less of crime? If she knew she would be indirectly involved but it in no way should detract from the fact that it was illegal and should have consequences for all involved, starting with the engineers.

15. In the universe I live in people in power

are supposed to have a fundamental understanding that something like state sponsored torture is little more than institutionalized sadism and intrinsically wrong. I'm not interesting in making or hearing excuses for people like Nancy Pelosi. The point isn't whether the media would turn against her or not, the point is that speaking out against it was the right thing to do, and Pelosi apparently doesn't have that in her.

Let's get this all out in the open and let the truth be told. If Pelosi kept quite about what she knew, than that needs to come out, but being quite isn't the same as authorizing the torture. Call the republicans out on this, and make them pay for what they did. If a few democrats have to take the heat for their part in this so be it. We can't let this crap continue, and if republicans are blackmailing the democrats that knew, to bad, let's get the information out.

a "Democratic are guilty too" issue. Do NOT let it happen. Cheney and Bush are the culprits; they are the ones who must pay.
