Love will bring us together.
The tortoise and the hare were in love, and when the tortoise would slow down, love for the hare would cause the tortoise to speed up. When the hare would go to fast the hare would slow down for the tortoise. They meet in the middle. Then there was another bunny rabbit, a girl, but the boy turtle and boy bunny rabbits were in love, so they didn't hit that shit. Or maybe they hit it and quit it, just to see what it was like. OK, so the bunny hit it a few more times than the turtle, and with a few more bunnies, because he was a bunny after all, and you know what they say about bunnies. However, eventually the boy bunny figured out that he liked boy turtles for some reason, and it was all good.

When the boy turtle got sick of the boy bunny, he'd go hang out with the girl bunny, because he was a total homo and liked to shop after all. Or some variation on it.

It could be Achilles and the tortoise or whatever.

1. Unfortunately, Romeo and Juliet killed themselves at the end...
and the Montagues and Capulets didn't do much apart from continuing to act like rich little spoiled families.

4. They did indeed, but they died and went to heaven.
And they got to see each other again, and finally got to live happily ever after.

5. It does both.
But eventually, we will settle down into an equilibrium between being torn apart and brought together.
