Court Sides With White House Office
Wednesday, May 20, 2009

"A federal appeals court ruled yesterday that the White House does not have to make public internal documents examining the potential disappearance of e-mails during the administration of President George W. Bush. ..."

Is there ever going to be an issue of importance that this administration will not follow the Bush/Cheney path? Hell, Obama doesn't even look Manchurian!

4. It is in the article, for which a link is provided...but

"...CREW's executive director, Melanie Sloan, said her organization is unlikely to appeal the ruling. But she said her group and others like it recently sent a letter to the Obama administration urging it to apply freedom-of-information laws to the Office of Administration.

"Transparency and accountability start at home," Sloan said. "
-------------------------------------------------

A quote from the article which states that this administration has NOT applied the FOIA to the Office of Administration. An executive order to do so did NOT have to await any court decision. Sorry, Babby-baby, but what I have said is supported by the facts. The wars are not being wound down(escalated in Afghanistan), Guantanamo is NOT closing, Cheney & Co are NOT being investigated for possible criminal acts ranging from corruption to torture, the only people or sector of the economy to present who has benefited from all the stimulus and bailouts are the very people who caused them, and the administrators of the economy are the some of the enablers. Shall I continue?

I voted for Obama, that does NOT mean I will blindly praise him and his administration, exactly like a Bushie does their idol.

5. And your headline is dishonest, which means you must be, too.
There's enough to criticize Obama about without having to put the sins of idiot son on him, too.

And grow up.

3. Your headline is mis-leading.
The WaPo headline is more accurate:
Documents About Lost E-Mail Can Stay Secret

The article is discussing a 2008 ( Bush Pres then) court case relating to a 2007 incident.
Obama has nothing to do with this.

As the article points out, the issue is that CREW requested information from an office which does not meet
FOI rules, according to 3 courts ( the original court case, the Federal Court and now the Appeals court ).

Even if the courts were wrong in their ruling ( who knows, I don't ) Obama had nothing to do with the case or the courts.

CREW is correct in now requesting the current Obama administration to apply FOI to the office.
