SAVAGE: And yet here in America, I've had some people come to my aid. They see the bigger picture. They're not like O'Reilly; they're not like Limbaugh, who's the biggest disappointment of all. Limbaugh has turned out to be the biggest phony of all of them, all of them. Amongst all of them, he is the biggest fraud. Rush Limbaugh is a fraud. When he was accused of the drug usage, I supported him. But that man is a one-way street. It's all about him. He's in it for nobody but himself.

And that pisses Savage off because he doesn't like competition for that stuff. Feh!

It was gonna happen sooner rather than later, the ego war of the hate mongers would break into the open. It's the best of times and the worst of times as their hordes have never been so brainwashed, however, their stations and networks are going bankrupt. Each hate monger has to sing louder and louder for his supper...justifying his big bucks.

Weiner is very vulnerable. He's not on a big network and many of the dim-watt AM stations that carry him are either going dark or opting for other cheap hate mongers. He needs the attention...and I'll bet he's hoping el rushbo takes the bait and snipes back. He could use a good ratings war. Let's see if rushbo, who works for a competitor, goes for it.

My prediction is coming true, I've been saying for years that one day the would start turning on each other :evilgrin:

Of all the vitriolic Coughlin-wannabes, I can almost stomach Weiner-Savage.
At times, he pushes the act so far, that his program crosses the line into some Colbert-esque performance piece.
People close to him say he used to desire to be the next Lenny Bruce. It shows.
His attacks on Limbaugh, O'Reilly, Levin, Hannity etc. have been cause for many Cons to say he is a double agent.
I wouldn't go that far, but in those very rare moments of lucidity, you can almost hear the Greenwich liberal beat poet he once was.
Pity that 99.9% of his show is the same tired right wing claque.

THAT IS SAYING SOMETHING!

Won't conservatives fall off the earth if they go too far to the right? I don't think it is round in their universe.

Perhaps the right wing media machine needs a time out.
