Cover your ass.

That is what he is doing. He was in charge of foreign policy since the day he appointed himself VP and received the blessing of Poppy Bush. He was deeply traumatized by the attacks of 9/11. He was the leader and the perosn that authorized "enhanced interrogation". He is afraid of what the future holds for him. He does not want to stand in front of the Hague. Most of all, he does not want to stand in front of the American people. He broke the law. Knowingly. He is a criminal and he is attempting to cover his ass. Period.

There is not enough Viagra on the planet to have that effect on Cheney. Corpses do not achieve erections.

4. Well, I used to think he was a Disney animatronic

character, but I've since switched to thinking he is alive. Currently, I think he's suffering from congestive heart failure and won't be alive much longer. Then, they'll reintroduce the Disney animatronic character.
