Tweety LOVES to:

1. ...pronounce Cheney as Cheeney, and what's more, states every time that he does it, that that's how the family pronounces the name and how he (Tweety) is so gleeful that he's contrary to public pronunciation. I'm not saying he's not technically correct...but it's the persistence of his explanation which is exceedingly annoying.

2. ...say that he's from Philly. Any allusion of any type to Philly or a Philadelphian, or even a Pennsylvanian, gets that tingle running up (down?) his leg. I've been in town for 52 of my years and I've never seen him wandering the streets, although I've run into everyone else who's ever been from here who claims it as his or her home.

3....not let anyone forget that he went to grad school at UNC. B.F. Deal. So he's way above average in intelligence. So's Phil Gramm, and we know how prescient he is. (Ah have whut everry politician needs in bulk: ready money (OK, I paraphrased it)) How'd that work out for Gramm's Presidential desires?

4. ...talk over anyone's answer to his long-winded question. Again, extremely annoying.

I just saw the very end of Hardball, where he called Dick Cheney a troll. :spray:

He said (paraphrased)"he's like the troll under the bridge biting the ankles of the kids as they walk across."

We met Dad and the unnamed freak-show at the wedding of a cousin. I made a bet with my sisters that the freak-show would mention her masters within the first 10 minutes. It only took five, and we all looked at our watches at the same time, and burst into laughter!
