U.S. war in Iraq is like WWII. It is like Operation Barbarossa, Hitler's failed
attempt to invade the Soviet Union.

1. This is why it's so important to rein in the pResident.
We all know how Barbarossa ended. If we let Bush keep his little war going, he could get all of our troops killed, just the way Hitler lost thousands of German troops at Stalingrad - letting them get surrounded and crushed while forbidding them from retreating. We cannot win in Iraq - the only thing that we'll get is more killed and maimed troops, the longer we stay in Iraq.

4. rein him in is correct, he is totally detached and delusional
he lives in his own world and to damn with everyone else, especially going against the wishes of the American people, this man is dangerously mentally ill. He only sees himself being right, he is very dangerous. I am sure if he got angry enough he would do something very dangerous.

2. and like Stalingrad and the Russian campaign bush refuses to ....
........ listen to any General that does not agree with him just like Hitler.
One Luftwaffe officer told Hitler he could resupply the trapped troops from
the air which he couldn't do and that doomed the German 6th army.

3. It's more like Pirates' of the Caribbean
you know, the scene Captain Jack (Iraq) was in this sword fight with his old shipmate (the US)

It makes more sense if you think about it as Pirates' of the Caribbean than comparing it to the bloodiest conflict in the history of man. Hitler referred it as a "war of annihilation", which was appropriate considering complete disregard for human life and shear volume of dead - upward of 30 million.

Are they starting to cover WWII history in your Junior high history class now?
