Guilty Feeling: Not enough is being done for Veterans, as we mark Memorial Day.
As an insomniac, I love the radio show "Coast to Coast." For the past three nights in a row, Veterans of wars have called up to share their lives, like they really are.

I know this post is a bit repetitive, but what could be more important than caring for the mental state of our veterans?

What can those of us here at DU do to support the needs of anyone returning from these wars, because we need to do everything possible to address all of the issues at stake:

PTSD
Addiction
Depression
Anxiety

This is a no-brainer. I know it, and I know all of you know it.

HOW CAN WE HELP?

Please list anything you can think of for how we can support mental health resources for our returning veterans, or we will rue the day that we ignored this issue.

We have no choice but to help.

Thanks for reading this.

6. Vote Democratic.
Obama's budget gives the VA its biggest budget increase in 30 years.

Both houses have passed resolutions which preserve the VA budget increase.
