A good friend and medical marijuana patient died last week

To raise awareness of Medical Cannabis (marijuana) Laws in the 14 States where they exist. To open lines of communication between law enforcement organizations (Police, Sheriff and other appropriate agencies), Medical Practitioners and Medical Cannabis Patient Groups, nationwide. To halt the effort to make examples of seriously ill people by some government officials who do not agree with voter approved legislation allowing some patients legal protection from prosecution for using a medicinal herb in certain specific situations. Such liaison should be a valid Medical Cannabis Patient. This liaison would be in effect, a communicator for, and a representative to the Medical Cannabis Patient Community nationwide, at large.

He told his doctor that he consumed Cannabis, she told him it was probably helping to him to stay alive. When he got so sick he couldn't eat, she gave him a prescription for Marinol, however, if you can't keep anything down the pills are useless. Texas doesn't have the protection of Medical Marijuana Laws. :cry:

He died after 5 years from HIV/AIDS complications. He was in the hospital for a month and the insurance company didn't want to help him any longer so the hospital helped him die faster.

The prosecution admitted during the trial that they KNEW the cannabis was shrinking his tumor and allowing him to stay alive.

It was a real shock to hear about Dennis. He looked just great at our executive board meeting on a Thursday, and was gone by the weekend. He was one of the longest-lived AIDS survivors thanks to medical marijuana.
