to become the fourth Mrs. Limbaugh. My little brother and his partner who have been together for over 30 years? Apparently they're a threat which can not be tolerated.
I spoke with my brother last night, and he was in tears. (This is a decorated former Naval avaitor we're talking about.) He and his partner live in CA and they got in under the wire, so they're still married, but he told me that he had never felt so helpless in his life. The fact that a group of people, in the country which he risked his life for, can strip him of his rights with some fucking proposition, is beyond his cmprehension. Mine too.
And for those who wish to post about how this isn't what the CA court decision was all about, and how people shouldn't be so upset, this was really just a procedural matter; let me tell you the same thing that my brother and millions of other gay Americans have been hearing for generations. Wait a little while, please. Today is not the time, and people aren't in the mood to hear it.

And, that includes his marriages.
