These are the people out to defeat the Sotomayor nomination:

Wendy Long, Counsel, Judicial Confirmation Network (but not to confirm those who don't pass the far right litmus test, obviously) - running to Faux News to spew her lies.

Curtis Levy - Directs the Committee for Justice (oh really? Justice for exactly who, Curtis?)

Ed Whelan - President of the Ethics and Public Policy Center (where are the ethics, Ed?), where he directs the program on The Constitution, the Courts, and the Culture. He was once a clerk to Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia (dareful about hunting with Tony and Dick, Ed!)

Jay Sekulow - As Chief Counsel for the American Center for Law and Justice (Justice, hey?), Sekulow does the bidding of the Pat Robertson wing of judiciary activism.

You may hate the far right (I certainly do), but they do get organized and shoot out the memes pretty quick. I do think they are overreaching on trying to torpedo this nomination - then again, their circle is getting so small, what do they have to lose?
