Bush will be away for six days for ANOTHER vacation: what a nerve to call out Dems for "going away"
WASHINGTON President Bush tomorrow will fly home to Texas. Aides say the president will spend part of the Easter holiday week at his ranch near Crawford.

Bush will be away from Washington for six days -- for events in the West and an Easter break.

8. Good! You're welcome! :o)
Laughter is about all we have at times in dealing with the horrors of Bush. It's laugh or go insane.

"And there is distrust in Washington. I am surprised, frankly, at the amount of distrust that exists in this town. And I'm sorry it's the case, and I'll work hard to try to elevate it." --George W. Bush, interview on National Public Radio, Jan. 29, 2007:crazy:

10. Pelosi is on vacation ... in Syria. Of course, she's trying to clear brush...
...in an attempt to avoid a widening brush fire.

Might be a nice way to frame it with a bit of tongue-in-cheek. ;)

2. It's not really a ranch because there are no cows or horses.
It's actually an estate. But Junior thinks it sounds better to call it a ranch. Kinda like when he calls Iraq a democracy.

3. K&R. Excellent point! I heard him today.
What a hypocrite! "Nerve" is right! But I also saw "F-9/11" and he was also away from D.C. for 42% of the time during his term preceding the terrorist attack that he believes was his greatest hour, when the truth is that he totally dropped the ball, ignored the memo and every warning by experts like Richard Clarke and allowed that to happen. He's fooled the American people most of the time... "Fool me once," etc. That infamous speech in Tennessee was more appropriate than most people know. :-( He thinks that we don't notice his brazen inconsistencies and constant hypocrisy... I honestly don't think he's even aware of it, he's gotten away with this for so long.:grr:

16. Per Keith Olbermann last night, **** has been vacationing
2 out of every 5 days in office....and this is not counting his trips to Camp David. He sees nothing out of line by asking Congress to return(not that I feel they need another vacation quite yet)while he goes back to the ranch for a rest. Good grief, he is inept...and dangerous.

27. Too bad Congress can't use the same 'recess' stunt that he does...
We'd be addressing Nancy Pelosi as "Madame President" (I think that's the proper term) by now.
