Great song for a Sunday! EnJoy!

(I commuted for years using this FREE East River crossing into Manhattan from Queens and often sang this song in homage)

Simon and Garfunkel (a couple of guys from my old neighborhood)
59th Street Bridge Song (Feelin' Groovy)

Slow down, you move too fast
You got to make the morning last
Just kicking down the cobblestones
Looking for fun and feeling groovy
Ba da da da da da da, feeling groovy

Hello lamppost, what'cha knowing
I've come to watch your flowers growin'
Ain't cha got no rhymes for me?
Doo-it in doo doo, feeling groovy
Ba da da da da da da, feeling groovy

I got no deeds to do
No promises to keep
I'm dappled and drowsy and ready to sleep
Let the morning time drop all its petals on me
Life I love you, all is groovy

:loveya:

first album (which was great too) for Wednesday Morning, 3AM. :)

BTW... I'm one degree of separation from him. My brother sold him a couple of several collectible guitars and also taught along with Paul's brother Eddie at the New School's Guitar Study Center.
