"Bush is "shrewd" in his post presidency"
So says some right wing spokesmodel. As proof, said spokesmodel points out that bush left office at 22% and now is in the comparative nosebleed territory of 30%.

Ooooo boy!

3. "shrewd" in not discussing Obama's presidency?
That would mean he would have to find out what is going on now and what went on during his administration.
Easier to stay drunk and stupid.

11. Wasn't there a news story last week(?) about Bush defending Cheney's statements
and actions during their (mis-)administration? True, he seems to have resisted the urge to attack President Obama unlike Cheney but it wins damned few "brownie points" with me after the last eight years when ANY sort of decency seemed to be completely verboten. Maybe I might give him some plaudits if he would hush Cheney up but I don't see that happening. Frankly, if I were him, I'd be keeping my mouth shut tightly and staying out of sight. It's quite telling that his first trip/speaking engagement anywhere post-Presidency was somewhere in Canada. It's disappointing that he did not choose to stay there and/or exile himself somewhere more remote.

4. I hope you mis-spelled "shrewed" ...
He's probably getting shrewed, if Laura is letting him know what a moron he's been for the last eight (or fifty) years.

5. Are you talking about the segment that was just on msnbc?
marsha wallace, former aide to w, said w was the "classiest es-president ever" because he's keeping his mouth shut. wallace says this because several democrats have told her how classy it is.

6. He's basically keeping his mouth shut and staying out of trouble.
Would that he had done that when he was the resident. Notice that even Cheney's numbers have gone up. The Republicans have absolutely nowhere to go, so are starting to hitch themselves to the wagons that are clearly heading over the cliff. It's fascinating to watch.
