and the passage of Prop 8 says to me. The RW are as hard at work as usual and the election did nothing except stir them up further. They feel no obligation to exercise bipartisanship or conciliation to the left after losing. The problem is , we do not demand they respect what are supposed to be the Democratic positions.
I find it frightening that with Congress , the Senate ,and the WH in Dem control the majority of the country allegedly( according to recent polling) no longer support Choice or Gay marriage.

These despicable little cowards have infiltrated everything, including the Democratic Party! This is why we must stand up and say "NO MORE". The time for being conciliatory and practicing bipartisanship is done. And for me, I will never extend my hand to those Dems who claim that opposition to these values is justified.

2. Thank you. All this "reaching out" bullshit is just that.
You are not going to change the Christofascist's minds mind bit, so I don't know why we are spending all this energy in engaging them.

4. I feel no need to be concilliatory to any rightwing
nutbag..
Only the need to reach out....
and smack the piss out of them since you can't talk any sense to them.
They have been a pain in my ass for too long, from the time I started school on.
I have faced down the assholes with a cross , anita brayant and her mob in selma alabama on and on. I for one am quite fed up.
Is why I live up in the woods. I won't put up with anymore attempted cross burnings on my yard..I did not put up with it the last time..they did not get their cross lit but they asses sure burned from the baconrind/rocksalt loads I had in my shotgun.

"It can't be bargained with. It can't be reasoned with. It doesn't feel pity, or remorse, or fear."

Not a bad description of a wingnut. I gave up on trying to debate with them years ago. It's like arguing with a wall.
