"The only difference between the American anti-abortion movement and the taliban
is about 8000 miles."

Dr. Warren Hern, a friend of Dr. Tiller's, who also performs late term abortions. He was just on Rachel.

3. depends on your definition of "movement:"
if the anti-abortion movement includes all those who think that abortion should be illegal, then that's clearly ridiculous.

the taliban is devoted (admittedly no less) in achieving their means through violence.

the VAST majority of anti-choice people AREN'T. including dozens of people i know and love who would never murder anybody, and who are just as horrified by tillers death as anybody else.

so, it really depends on "movement". if you want to define the A-a MOVEMENT AS THOSE WHO USE VIOLENCE TO ACHIEVE THEIR MEANS, then warren is correct.

10. Abortion is LEGAL
Even those who you claim are not violent are feeding the frenzy.

Why can't these anti abortion folks understand that this is a LEGAL medical procedure and respect a woman's right to choose??

Against abortion? Don't have one. Seems simple enough.

11. just because something is legal doesn;'t mean people don;'t have a right to protest
Edited on Tue Jun-02-09 09:20 PM by paulsby
as MLK jr. and others who engaged in peaceful protest knew oh so well.

slavery was once legal.btw.

also, by the nature of the best, most things people protest are legal. things that are illegal are much less rarely protested. think about it.

and it's not my "claim" that they aren't violent.

they ARE NOT VIOLENT.

i respect their right to protest, but since i am pro-choice i disagree with their cause.

but absolutely support their right to protest.

blaming non-violent protestors for the actions of the murderous assmunches is JUST AS BAD as blaming non-violent muslims for the murder of the recruiter.

say, "Enough!" Let these hateful assholes know they are being watched, and that they will be arrested for harrassment, defacing property, posting private information, etc.

These people just sicken me.

Edited to add: How come the majority of these anti-abortion freak-wads are men??? (Rhetorical question; I do know the answer.)

6. I was going with "Nothing" but the mileage works
It is time to demonize these people for what they are. They are "Terrorist" and they are a threat to the general public.
