C-Span Callers rake Reagan over the coals
They did a piece on Ronald Reagan and then opened up the phones. Expecting to hear the idolatrous ones sing in uniform chorus I was pleasantly surprised to hear more than half of the callers knew Reagan was the beginning of the end for this country and were more than happy to say so. Oh, fact based too - very refreshing.

3. Heard it and loved it.
There was a string of calls that went through just about all of St. Ronnie's crimes. :bounce:

I did notice the host had a quick trigger finger on the call button, clearly agitated at so many informed calls.

4. I just don't get it.
When Reagan was running for office, the reporters would go out and do the man in the street thing. Blue collar guys, when asked, would say "He makes me feel good about being an American." I don't get it.

Ronald Reagan didn't make me feel good or bad about being an American. President Obama doesn't make me feel good about being an American, his election could be said to in some way validated what I already felt about the country, but frankly no politician has earned a position of honor or trust in my book, because so many before have proven the likelihood that such trust would be misplaced.
