Yick! New York Post comments on Obama's Cairo speech.
This gives you an idea of what we are up against here in the U.S.

OBAMA BUTTERS THEM UP IN CAIRO

But if world peace is attained by complimenting those on the other side into submission, he made some serious progress.
...
He talked and talked and talked and talked.
And then kept talking.
...
The problem with talking so much is that you eventually just start babbling and saying a bunch of stuff that makes no sense.
...
They guy is confronting one of the most evil and relentless mindsets in the history of man and he finds room in his big address to whine about the Internet -- by far a greater tool for freedom than anything else.

-----

And some reader comments:

He pronounced "Koran" in his speech like he is speaking in some foreign language. Or maybe he was trying to gargle. Bam, go home, Michelle isn't getting any lately and ya know how she gets...looks like a weekend trip to Paris for din-din at a chic bistro is in the offing, no doubt something he also "promised" her during the campaign.
...
He is a total embarrassment to the United States. For the first time in my life, I'm scared for our safety with our muslim president at the controls.
This is a dark day for America and we should be ashamed for electing this non-American to such a powerful position. I'm praying he'll be a one-term president and is voted out before something bad happens to us.

----
----

Good god. What unbelievably ignorant, small and miserable mindsets.

1. It's New York Post, of course it's like this.
It's a tabloid of incipient fascism. It's the would-be Der Sturmer.

2. This is the view of a small minority, here and abroad.
They'll never go away completely. The vast majority would disagree with the malcontents you quoted. The odd thing is the way the Internets and the media give a seemingly-credible platform to sourpuss whiners.

6. The official Puke talking point is he's putting too much pressure
on Israel. Everything now will be 'is he taking the right approach re Israel'.

7. Do yourself a favor and don't read from that site
and don't buy their paper -- it's only good for lining birdcages anyway -- you'll save your blood pressure that way.
